How do you cook red quinoa?
The method is the same as that used in the preparation of white quinoa. The first step is to wash it before cooking – you must moisturize the grain for 30 minutes before cooking or if you are in a hurry, put it in hot water for three minutes and then rinse with running water. Then cook it for 10 to 15m until the grain is more translucent. For a cup of quinoa, add 3 cups of water. At the end, drain to remove excess water.
